The Center has chosen to use new technologies for safeguarding and showcasing its history.
It has equipped itself with innovative and powerful digitization tools specific to each type of support: opaque and transparent documents of all sizes (from slides to posters nearly 2 meters high), but also videos.
The procedure that has been set up follows the recommendations of the digitization charter of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France: respecting the material integrity of the documents, choice of resolution, format, and file naming.
Rare and/or precious documents and those most in demand are given priority for digitization.
Today, more than 5,000 documents have been digitized to be preserved long-term in digital format and are now at the disposal of researchers
