The Terre Blanche Archive Center

As the “lion brand” celebrated its bicentennial, PSA Peugeot Citroën inaugurated the Terre Blanche Archive Center in the heart of the Franche-Comté, its industrial birthplace. The former tool factory was renovated, and the buildings were turned into storage units, digitization rooms, and an exhibition hall. Custodian of irreplaceable documents concerning the modalities of the industrial revolution under the influence of Protestant employers, the origins of the global automobile, etc., the Center's purpose is to preserve and showcase the Group's historic heritage by undertaking collection campaigns, establishing a policy of restoration, and carrying out description and sorting work, all the while making its collection available to researchers, historians, and employees. Run by an endowment fund, it has been equipped with modern tools and structures designed to preserve the treasures it holds. Cutting-edge scanners are used alongside centuries-old archives, preserved in secure, climate-controlled rooms.
